Hi all

I am looking for the best way to remove the 6 cylinder yoke to replace with a V8 as I have tried with the rattle gun, breaker bar & CRC and the nut will not budge any tips or tricks you can share.

Cheers

Pitty

Mine wasn't that bad. Removed the centre from the housing and held it in a bench vice by the yoke and used a breaker bar.

Put a piece of tube over the breaker bar. I would personally renew the bearings at the same time, you will most probably change the preload setting with just the change of yoke. Your call mate, Gary.

Preload can be felt as you tighten up the nut if you're a clever dick?

Need a big rattle gun.

Could use a breaker bar long enough to touch the ground and push the car the right direction.
