I tried to fit a VK EFI engine into my LX years ago and the bonnet wouldn't close, UC might have a bit more room.
Fits in an LJ no problems

I think it would not have taken much to make the UC go really good a waste gate adjustment, head work, cam. I dont think a 186s would have gone any better than the 202 the cam would have just let the boost out of the exhaust. The intake and exhaust manifolds would be the same. The Higher comp of the 186s and double valve springs would help but everything else would be equal. Cheers Aaron.

12 port cast mani with a j pipe fits fine in a lh, thats what mine had.

The VK EFI manifold will fit under a UC bonnet I think you'll find yel. I've heard of a few -
.
Next door neighbour has a UC with VK EFI engine in it and she drives it pretty hard
