Does anyone know if the UC Torana caliper to stub bolts are the same as the ones used for LH calipers to stub? I know the LX ones are different so I'll steer clear of them but I've got a set of UC calipers for the LH and wanted to source some new bolts for them.

Thanks,
Mugginz

The UC calipers use normal bolts, not one bolt and an allen key bolt.

Late UC

Just remember the hose is a metric thread... so you'll need to change them aswell

Are both ends of the house metric or just the caliper end?

I'm gunna keep the LH booster and master cylinder and proportioning valve and I've added the UC style brake hose brackets so I'm gunna have to get new hard lines as well as caliper hoses.

I hope Maltech is still in business, his web site was down last time it checked it.

Re: My last post, Maltech is still in business, his website is just down.  So I should have new brake lines next week. :)

Took the LH calipers off and cleaned em up and measured its mounting bosses to compare to the UC ones.

LH Torana - 20.5mm
UC Torana - 16.5mm

Upper bolt from LH was a little longer than the bottom one as it has to go through a mounting tab on the backing plate. The UC backing plates don't have the mounting tab that's on the LH. It mounts just by the two holes for the steering arm. Couldn't get high tensile bolts that were 4mm shorter from the bolt shop so got some high tensile washers to go with the bolts.
