I'ts almost a year to the day since I picked up my chrome yellow lh slr 3300, so I thought it was about time to share some pics and put it out there.
I'll put up some pics and some words and work my way through the build bit by bit.
Please let me know if pics come through ok, complete newbie at this caper.

Well I see it has all the hard to get chrome strips and has also had the front inertia real seat belt conversion brackets fitted. I fit inertia reals to mine recently and it was a pain the arse making them work properly as the floor mounting is different between the 74 and 75 LH's...

Nice work so far mate.  Keep it up!

Next project was making a rotisserie, after searching this site and finding all the info I needed, spending $300 ish on steel, 2 lazy weekends and I had what I needed. Havn't got a flywheel and starter motor or even a crank handle, but it works for me.Attached File  20160516_193419.jpg   71.83K   19 downloads

So the next half a year was spent stripping, sanding and priming, with a few patches thrown in for good measure, 1/4's, spare wheel well, bottom rear screen channel, couple of small spots top of front screen, floor well front passenger, bottom of plenum and behind drivers side bonnet hinge. Also recently unpicked tailight buckets for replacements.Attached File  20160801_181202.jpg   57K   19 downloadsAttached File  20160801_191458.jpg   49.4K   19 downloadsAttached File  20160515_194342.jpg   55.06K   20 downloadsAttached File  20160512_195545.jpg   70.06K   22 downloadsAttached File  20161007_200255.jpg   73.58K   20 downloadsAttached File  20161015_102846.jpg   48.54K   16 downloadsAttached File  20161003_210551.jpg   67.99K   17 downloadsAttached File  20161113_111419.jpg   80.96K   17 downloadsAttached File  20161113_180710.jpg   56.73K   16 downloadsAttached File  20161117_173521.jpg   46.79K   16 downloads

Out of all the Toranas I have pull apart in the past I have never seen them before

Only found on 74 LH's that have had an intertia real conversion. So wouldn't be very common at all. I just fit spacers in mine and they worked a treat.

Great work so far on the body.  Glad you are doing the old girl justice. Go the LH SL/R's :-)

This looks like it's going to be a very thorough job-well done.
