I found a sprintmaster rim on ebay the other day (finished now).  It had me a little puzzled to what it was.  It has a CSA center cap but no CSA/WIA cast into the front of the spokes.  It also had a 6th month 72 date cast in the rear but has tapered wheel nuts not self locators..?   Did they ever make a 6/72 sprintmaster that used tapered nuts or were thay all self locators?

Perhaps 201207 (July 2012?) stamped into the back of the spoke is the manufacture date?
