I have had a brake issue with my car which was the front calipers having a seized piston,I had a spare set on the shelf which I dismantled bead blasted and painted,I have a new set of Pistons and kits to rebuild them.
After getting to this stage I noticed that they are different, both are Girlock the mounting holes appear to be the same, the originals have 4 3/8 bolts clamping the halves together, and the replacement have 2 3/8 and 2 7/16 bolts, see picture.
Was just wondering should I rebuild the originals or use the refurbed ones

Phil the bottom one in your pic is not typical of the Girlock calipers used on LC/LJ 6cyl. AFAIK all LC/LJ Girlock calipers had 4 bolts of the same size (7/16" or 3/8" I can't remember off hand which size).

I'd be inclined to refurb the calipers on your car.
