Hey all,

Don't know much about this car, just picked it up,

just come back from a spin around the neighborhood, noticed my electrical gauge needle pointing north ish,

I used a DMM & checked voltage,

@ idle between D & N 12.9- 13.5v

in P & start to lift the Revs to about 1800rpm it slowly climbed to 17ish Volts

LX Auto V8

Any ideas would be helpful,

Regulator on the alternator U/S would be my first guess.

I'd just take the alternator to an auto elec first and get em to spin it up to confirm.

Exactly, as he/she could also pick up other faults.
