Outrigger to chassis rail repair

Gidday all, after some advice on the best way to repair the cracking as shown in the photo. It's the point where the K Frame (I think it's called out rigger) bolts to the chassis Attached File  Chassis rail.doc   1.9MB   94 downloadss rail. 75 LH if your wondering.

Looks like its corroded from the inside out. Needs cutting out and replacing with a fabricated section.

High mileage v8s tend to get a crack but it's notmally on the left of the washer in your pic. That looks like there might be something else going on like rust . Cut a section of floor pan out from inside so you can get in there and have a good look and repair

That isn't cracking that is rusting through.
