Gidday all, after some advice on the best way to repair the cracking as shown in the photo. It's the point where the K Frame (I think it's called out rigger) bolts to the chassis

Looks like its corroded from the inside out. Needs cutting out and replacing with a fabricated section.

High mileage v8s tend to get a crack but it's notmally on the left of the washer in your pic. That looks like there might be something else going on like rust . Cut a section of floor pan out from inside so you can get in there and have a good look and repair

That isn't cracking that is rusting through.
