The Festival of Sporting Cars is holding a multi-club race meeting tomorrow on the North "Druitt" circuit at SMP.
Thirteen Toranas have been entered across various classes. Don't know how many are Forum members, but not a bad turn out all the same!
The weather in Sydney has been crap for over a week and a lot more rain is forecast for tomorrow. Hope this doesn't deter drivers or spectators.

I was a wild wild wild wet day at the track , but saw the kermit the green SPAX flash having a big hit out .and puching above it's weight.
steve ran mid pack all day. There the same cars and it's a really good series for a cheap motor sport , well worth the look if yoiu don't want to turn your GTR or XU! into a grounp NC car..

As expected, it was very wet at Sydney Motorsport Park yesterday. Drivers enjoyed the challenging conditions, unless they had an off-track excursion, and there were plenty of those. Most resulted in a red flag as cars had to be recovered from the mud with 4WDs.
I ran in the Series X3 for Hyundai Excels. Not the fastest cars but definitely one of the cheapest and most enjoyable ways to go motor racing. Here is a brief clip from lap 1 race 1. The race was red flagged when the silver car spun at Turn 1!
I didn’t see much of the Torana boys but they looked like they were having fun in the wet. Everyone was pretty busy coming to grips (haha) with the conditions!
