Ignition switch rebuild LX

Hi guys, in the process of rebuilding my ignition switch as per Lamo's post in Tech.

I'm not sure if the little lug goes under the big spring and pokes out of the slide from the inside (like the first photo), or sits on the outside of the slide like in the tech post (second photo). Any help greatly appreciated, I don't want to stuff it now!

I don't recall there being a lug on this side? Should only have 3 bearings like second pic??

Now I question do some not have that spring at the front and that lug?
