Do the replacement rear 1/4 panels incorporate the side window frame up to the vent /door section or is that a seperate section ? What sort of coin would one need to purchase ?

I'm sorry, I can't believe the price of Torana or Monaro parts these days ,people just want to "kill the pig" rather than charge a reasonable price to see these cars back on the road .greedy imo.

Nup I'm over it! ,fellow Torana owners and restorers should be helping other Torana owners and the like to "restore " and advise ,not rip them blind ,over time I have witnessed this ,it may be what's called supply and demand but not hi way robbery.

They don't have a passion for the old school Monaros and Toranas ,they just want to line their pockets.

This is the dumbest shit I've read.
The buyer dictates the price.

Gene you have sold me an item at a reasonable price and not ripped me and I'm greatful for that but some people just need a reality check.

You got the part from someone you know, that's the difference.
There has been many stories of that happening, helping others with parts via this forum or others on the web.
But I don't blame anyone for trying to make as much as they can with parts they have off eBay or other selling platforms.

I got a Hatchback AM radio off a very good friend of mine and he was kind enough to give it to me as a gift.
You don't see them for much under $350 on eBay and the like, which I wasn't prepared to pay.
I sold a pair of 14x9 1/4 hotwires to a friend for no where near what I paid for them, but I will be happy to see them on his car.

Could be worse. The seller could be asking 5k per panel. For sure he'll still have them in 5 years time at that price though.

The market may eventually rise to meet his price. Out of interest does anyone know what it would cost to get someone to build that panel from scratch?

All it takes is for Rares to make these again & put a $800 price tag on them.

All the profiteers can keep their pitted 'genuine' items.

The NOS ones usually have the window frame section.

The replacement ones don't.

I asked Les (RIP) about these years ago... he said he could look into doing them again... if there was enough demand
