As per the title, I have marked every other wire but this one(it was several years ago) and it is the only one that I dont know what it dose/did

kick down solenoid wire , goes through the hole in the tunnel onto the side of the gearbox 

 

fuel sender.is a different colour ?

Are you sure? looks like the female pin connector for the fuel sender. Does the kickdown solenoid use the same type of connector? I've not had much to do with slushmatic transmissions.

Looks like the pic was taken inside the cab (drivers side?)  , not the boot ? , yes both traumatic kickdown and fuel sender have a similar fitting ?

My manual (Gregorys) shows the kickdown as orange and the fuel sender as light brown.

yep they use the same type plug

Hmm now I question myself. For memory fuel is brown.. would not know if auto or not though all mine have been manual.
