I was wondering if someone could post some photos of where the Tail Light Wiring Harness sits in a Hatchback. Does it go through or over the Rib behind the Back Seat / where does the Wire pass though the Rear Light Panel into the Lights themselves?

Does this give you any clues Terry? Hopefully a hatchback owner can post up some pictures.

Brad, I have that Diagram - enlarged it - still can't make out where exactly it runs. Where Wiring comes up to Lights, where you think the Wire will go, the Light Fittings/Bulbs won't fit through the Hole! Same as the Rib behind the Rear Seat.

Both Panels are different on a Hatch.

Don't have a pic handy Brad but the loom follows the wheel arch around then goes through gaps next to the wheel arch under that boxed floor section.
If you are still not sure then hit me up for a pic and I will pull out the mats.

Have a little more info which may help. See pics.

Actually big thanks as you can see my sub floor needs a clean up and treating of some surface rust which I wasn't aware of.

(rear tail lights loom off outboard under floor then feed in above floor to lights)

(not sure where or if you would be able to get those clips - rare spares perhaps)

My loom runs, I think, in the wrong place, it should run directly up in to the boxed sub floor under the rib section (if possible as I can't see there on my car with out further disassembly).

The loom here is original and it is sitting how the natural form of the loom was.

Is that the fuel tank sender wire I see disappearing into the floor there?

Yup that's where the fuel sender wire goes.

Agree with the above comment that the harness goes straight up the diff tunnel and under the timber sub floor, there's a circular hole to allow the harness to go through the sheet metal that the timber sub floor screws to.
