Hello all, im thinking about going for a 4L65E trans due to it having overdrive. Im curious as to weather i will need to make any modifications to the trans tunnel to fit this transmission?

If they are the same as the T700  then no mods are required at all. I had one in my LX.  Was a tight fit but was doable easily enough.

A small whack with a hammer on the passenger side to clear the trans selector shaft is all that's required. 10 seconds work.
