Hi all i took a steering rack of a front end that had been laying on a angle for some years when i moved the boot on the rack oil came out of the drivers side of the rack which was the end that was tilted down towards the ground passenger side of the ground .The rack works perfect . will the rack be okay to use .Thanks Gary.

The rack requires ".33 of a pint of SAE 140 hypoid Gear Lubricant". Either replace with some 140 weight diff oil and make sure the boots seal properly, or disassemble and grease instead.
