Don't know about you but after watching that I seem to be dreaming of Genie...

45-odd years ago... she'd be somebody's great-grandmother by now!
Interesting concept car though, imagine trying to explain to a cop nowadays that those bonnet scoops were factory fitted...

The 308Q was shaped and put together by Chris Farrell he did all the flares, spoiler on the boot and the scoops on the bonnet and Ray Miles did the finishing bodywork and the final paintwork
Ray said he would be very surprised if it had survived due to the amount of Bronze wielding and flux, and it would play up later on.
The shop was in Colebrooke Street in Brunswick...couple of doors down from The original Harrop family engineering shop.
The wheels on the 308Q were American Racing Wheels, they were brought into the country for a race car owned by Darrall Sydal.... American car importer if that time.
The 308Q had a std unmodified 308 engine.
It was first seen at the 1973 Sydney Motor Show when the 25th anniversary of the Holden was the theme.
It was also at the 1974 Melbourne motor show, 1974 Adelaide motor show and Perth motor show 1974.
