Hello, Iv been around this forum for years not really saying much, just looking and hoping to get another torana.
I'm finally in the market and found this little gem.

It's a 74 LH. 202 and originally a 3 on the tree but now a m21 and hot 202.
The car is really neat. Had panel and paint about 6 years ago, had a look today couldn't find any rust.
It's got hq front brakes does that mean the stud pattern had to be changed at the same time? Haven't looked into it yet.
He had 18k on it, we are negotiating around 15ish at the moment.

From what Iv seen around that is for sale it is around the going price.
It's a car that I can get in and just drive and not do a thing to....if I wanted too

Does it seem reasonable?

If the pics don't work give me a minute

Yes I agree, realistically 10 would be the go but there is not much out there. Anything Iv found like this is all 15k and up.

15 is near 10, these days 10 gets you a rusty shell.

If you like it, buy it,...good luck mate. Reckon you'd like driving it.

If you like it and can afford it then go ahead. It'll be worth more than what you paid next year.

Thanks guys. The owner seems like a pretty genuine guy, he said the rust repairs were done properly and I know of the guy who did the work and he is pretty good. It is a little more that I was thanking of spending but for the right car I think it's ok. I'd been wanting to get back into a torana for the last 14 years when I got rid on my uc hatch when I got some misleading info about the body and I didn't know any better. Cheers for all that.

If you've got the $18k just pay the man and enjoy.

Sure, its probably a bit more than any of us would like to pay for it, but how many others do you have to choose from?

How long will it be till another unmolested beauty comes along?

life is too short to fck around, just do it.

15K is a good buy in my eyes. Not a lot of money nowadays. Jump on board the Torana train and have some fun :-)

I'm such a tightarse, if I didn't get all my cars way back when there's no way I'd buy one now lol. Sister paid 15 for the 5000 ten years ago and I thought she'd been lashed 🤣🤣

Most of us wouldnt pay what our cars are worth for our cars nowdays....

The market is silly af.

If you like it, buy it. Just flash the cash.

Trust me, I impusle purchased a random silly car (non torana) a few months ago and have been dailying the fu ck out of it. Its shithouse, doesnt turn, stop or go, its uncumfortable, but frOck its fun to drive....I hummed and harred but have not for a second regretted the purchase since making it.....
