G'day All

Taking my SS up to our local TAFE automotive rooms tonight where our car club members can use the facilities to tinker around with our cars or whatever we want to do there

Problem with my SS is that when I wind up my window, it goes up at an angle so basically I have to wind it up about 3cm then grab it at the front and pull it back into the bailely channel and keep on doing this process till it is almost to the top and even then the last 2 cm has the window going back out again

I have been told that the regulator is bent and this is the problem but before I go up there tonight, are there any more hints on what might be up with it ??

Thanks ............ Barry

More likely the little plastic rollers that run in the guide channels are roo ted.

Check the bolts on the slide rail that the regulator rollers go in also. It bolt's to the inside of the door. U will need to take off the door trim to get to them. I know when it is out of adjustment it can cause this exact problem. Or even the front track maybe loose allowing for movement.
