ON THE ROAD
I have just had the car inspected and it passed. I had to add springs to the front brake hoses to keep them clear of the wheels and then have a same day recheck ( no extra charge) It is now registered as a v8! Lots of things to do before the car looks the part but I think I will let the budget recover first. It took all of what I had set aside to get it converted and registered in the allowed 1 year form the time I applied to mod the car.
After the inspection I went over the weigh bridge at the local sand and metal yard and it came in at 1.37T, Sounds a little light to me. Any one know what the weight of a v8 uc with t400 and a 9" diff should be.
