would be more easy to use a cortina diff than a LX diff in a UC

Its a borgwarner 78 series modified for lx. I need the ratio for the rest of the conversion to work.

cortina diffs are 78s as well and closer top arm mounts to a UC than a LX

Need 3.46 or 3.45 ratio. Besides trying to find a cortina diff these days is just about impossible.

All good. I found a bloke who is now retired and still makes the odd one from home and has the correct jig for uc and has beed doing them for over 40 years and never had any problems. Ao he will be doing the diff. Thank god for that. So makes life easier.

uc lower diff mount are not the same as lh,lx. on uc and a9x the hole in the bottom floor mount is 20mm back lower diff mount is more like hz if you use the wrong mounts your wheel is 20mm out if you have big wheels like 295/50/15 they will hard up on the body
