Hi all
Is there a way of finding out codes or color names?
The car is Orchid pink
Im chasing the color code or name of
1. The original Black used under the car and along the bottom sides below the doors. And at bottom of rear quarters?
I presume this would of been a 1 black fits all from factory?

2. The engine bay appears to be a grey rather than straight black?
this can be seen as a definate color difference not faded as such.
Definately original colors as car is as it came from original owner, not resprayed.
Any info on where to look would be appreciated.
Cheers Nicho

Hi Nicho

Q1. Warrigal Black for decorative body paint outs up until 30/09/1973. Tuxedo Black from 1/10/1973. If you are going with acrylic lacquer and you can't get Warrigal or Tuxedo then use Midnight Black or Jet Black.

Q2. I'm going to leave that one alone as there is a recent thread about this very topic.

Cheers

Dave.

The blue/grey black (if you can call it black) found in the boot and engine bay of an untouched Adelaide build Torana is not Warrigal Black.

Yeah i wasnt going to call it black but most
call it blue black in boot enginebay.

If your gonna get same Nic id just find
best untouched area and get it matched.
