I seem to recall that Yel ( Byron) had found some minor issues, but generally it was pretty good?

That last part of their list is wrong, the only Gen III engine there is the "VF" prefix LS1, all the other engines are Gen IV and their list is not even close to complete!

I've been compiling a list of Gen IV engine number prefixes (as fitted to Australian vehicles) over on the Just Commodores forum here:

https://forums.justc...refixes.250144/

No point doing that on this forum as you can't edit a post beyond about ten minutes.

Bigfella237 is correct, the GenIII listings are rubbish, but there are also many small errors in the descriptions.

It looks to me like they just pinched some info off the various lists out there (mainly Byrons & mine) to make there own & their lack of knowledge in re-sorting it shows.

I had the top list saved as a word document so I deleted everything after "350" and then copied Andrews work onto it. That should get me up to date. Nice work to the (original) authors of the top list, and to yourself Andrew.

Someone should make it a sticky with the new amendments.
