Hi guys just got myself a lc project.Someone at some stage has put bucket seats in it.Its an auto and has the handbrake just under the dash. The compliance plate is marked as a six seater. I haven't seen a bench seat in a lc torana before. Are they rare.If so what are they going for roughly,if I can find a bench seat for it.

There's a bench seat on ebay at the moment. Pops up every time I search for Torana seats but not what I'm looking for. Still there today when I looked.

Cheers,

Liz :)

They are abit of an item atm.
The bench on ebay dont look too bad and is a
fair starting bid of $600

They dont come up often but have seen more
toranas with these seats popping up over last
yr or so more than what ive seen previously.

I paid $100 for my one. 600 is ridiculous. I would love to see 3 people squeeze in there. Maybe little Thai women.

Mates father had one.

Yes you can get 3 across the seat, but the passengers had to be friendly if the driver was going to be able to steer.

Middle guy had to hold on to edge of seat near the pillar to make enough room.

Can even remember 1 being used as a Taxi back in the day.

It took me a couple of years to find one and that one on ebay is in a bit better nick.  Ridiculous was going a bit too far, a premium though.

I think they are a great idea just for something a bit quirky, that's why I got one.  I'm putting mine in an LC coupe.

I have the handbrake setup here if you are after one.  Handle is cracked like most.

It is a weird thing that comes out at an angle.

I think I have everything but one of the cables was cut to get it out of the car from memory.

Yeah..could b something i could do down the
track.pretty sure theres just one cable to
the handbrake and it joins up to the existing
rear brake cables pretty much same way the
normal handbrake does .Does the cable go
through an eye bracket spotted to floor
underneath with a u clip to hold it in place

What do you want for it bud

Cheers maz

Madtoranajzedded, I must have missed your post ^^. I did look at the park brake setup a while ago and I'm pretty sure it is all there. Yes I will sell it if you still want it.

Think I remember seeing a weird set-up in the firewall area above the starter motor?

back in the Day, of wreckers and stuff.

Had like a lever system and pulley mounted.
