LH rusted rear window top channel repair ?

hey guys the rear window channel is badly rusted at the top in my lh sedan i did a search to try find a rust repair panel but haven't come up with much over the last few days anyone make this part or am i going to have to try fab one up. Cheers matt

Hi Matt, alot of people fab them up in sections rather than the full length of the window. If you look through some build threads theres a few good examples.

Alternatively you could probably buy a bottom one from rares, they do a full length piece of the lower channel. Turn it upside down, cut out sections and make them fit.

thanks covert ive found this fourm abit hard to locate the info i was after unless i spent hours trawling though everyones buid threads thats what ive been doing but havent come up with much i was thinking that about the rares lower section looks to be abit different profile to the top but i might be able to make it work i was hoping someone was making the top section cos ive seen alot of them rust in this area cheers mate.
