I had a really good weekend out at SMSP we had made a few changes to the car from last race meeting at SMSP which really has made the car much nicer to drive and helps with some mid to exit corner speed. We got the car down to a 1:43:2 lap around the GP circuit which is pretty good. I can feel a 42 in the car which some more tweets and tuning of the suspension. However a great result all in all, now there is only one V8 commodore to pass instead of 2. Hahahahaha

Nice driving Chris, really impressed with how you have been developing it and chasing the laptimes!

Thanks, we haved made some good steps forward. My goal is to be the fastest steel full bodied 6 cylinder Torana in IP, whilst we are at it annoy as many LM and turbo cars as we could. My Father has got his Group U Steel Bodied LJ Torana which we are planning on restoring this year, we are also hoping to be equally as quick or faster in that. It doesn't have as much in the way of brakes as my car but it does weigh about 150kg which should make up for it, with the extra 2" on the tyres it should be pretty quick too. Hopefully we can race against each other soon in Tailem Bend.

Sounds great, can't wait for The Bend to open, will be good fun to have a run with you, we have a few quick Torries over here - should be good to watch!
