Hi All

Having to go through the process of replacing my 16" F90 3 piece rims after some low life wanted them more than I after they broke in to my shed and left my car sitting on axle stands. Going through drama with insurance not wanting to cough up to replace the F90's so I'm most likely having to get 17" FR1 rims.

Rims are on an LX un-flared 4 door with firewall seam flattened and front of guards nipped to clear a 205/50-16 with hoppers 290mm front brakes and Kings low springs all round. I didn't have the offset recorded as I hadn't planned on getting my wheels stolen so I was wondering if anyone has any pointers. I was looking at 17 x 7 front and 17 x 8.5 rear with 205/45-17 and 235/40-17 tyres.

I've started templating offsets and get the front at +13-20mm and +20-25mm on the rear. Do these seem about right?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

What set up you end up with? We will be working on buddy's LX right after we finished installing the Bilstein shocks on the current Jeep project. Appreciate any info. TIA

Hanen't ordered anything yet as panel work is getting finished off before painting.  Will probably be ordering something in the next month hopefully.  My tyre man is going to help me sort the offsets now which is helpful.

After talking to Simmons here in NZ they recommended I go 17 x 7 on the front +25 offset and 17 x 8.5 on the rear +15 offset. I test fitted the rims today and they fit mint with heaps of clearance. I have rolled my rear guards and they recommended this as well without flares.
Tyres are 205/45-17 front and 235/40-17 rear. 215/40-17 looked too small in the front wheel arch in my and my panel beater mates opinion.
