Does anyone know what the specifications and performance are for the Torana A9X race car that raced at Bathurst from 1977 to 1979?

I'm looking for things like weight, power, top speed, acceleration, fuel consumption, brakes, wheels and tyre size, dimensions of race car and if anyone knows a good website where I can find all this info.

Also how did Peter Brock's Torana compare to the other Toranas of like Allan Grice, Bob Morris, John Harvey and Peter Janson, in terms of these specs and performance?

Top speed depends on diff ratio 260kph with 3.08 ratio

Fuel consumption approx 1 litre per kilometre
Brakes Harrop and or AP Girlock

As far as acceleration goes, back in '76 Tim Slako took his L34 to Ravenswood for the day and using track tyres (with wheelspin) ran a 12 second quarter. I don't know what diff ratio he was using though.

A lot of the teams drag raced at Adelaide International in the 70's, and low 12's was the best.

It makes sense low 12 second passes would have been achieved back in the day with most of top group C teams making in the vicinity 380 hp and some claiming more,.my road going high output (HO) L34 making 340 hp @ flywheel and on normal road radial tyres ran comfortably 13.4 second passes with 3.08 diff gearing..
