From what I can see LC - LJ floor shift steering columns have a completely different lower shaft bearing/bush. My question is, does anyone have a LC workshop manual exploded diagram of a floor shift steering column ?

 

I want to see what is supporting the inner tube (yellow arrow).

Hi mate, try doing a Google search for lc parts cataloge for download, Skap had put some on here a while back, I'm guessing that they're still accessable, Gary.

Thanks Gary, the LC parts cat is short on detail but I did found the following pic which shows a gearshift tube to steering bracket bearing which I assume is a bush:
