Whilst it won't bring back albums unless you pay the blackmail amount to photobucket the indivial photos are getting fixed up hopefully with the patches I'm applying to the database.
This means the forum needs to go offline i'm sorry for around 3-4hrs.

Ok guys, I know there's a few comments missing from the last 3 hours, the forum has no feature to go offline or into maintenance mode so I kept the forum running with old data whilst I fixed the new data.
The photo bucket albums I couldn't help with as there was no hint to what the image files were but the stand alone images we were able to rescue around 76k of them.

Are those photobucket pics now permanent or will they still disappear if people delete their PB albums or individual pics?

Edit: Seems that now that Chris has applied the patches/fixes to the forum software the Google Chrome PB embed fix is useless.
I could see the PB pics I posted in the aforementioned thread with Gooogle Chrome but not with Firefox, now I can't see the pics with either.

Nope, if they were posted while the work was being done then they got over-written when the work was complete.
If you want to repost them Mat, I've got them in email form? I'll PM you now with the details and you can repost...

The images are permanently in the GMH Torana Photobucket Cache server even if they took down Photobucket today the photos we have captured will remain working as I have updated all of your posts, comments, messages and signatures to point to my servers for the images instead of Photobucket. So this is for all posts prior to 12/08/2017 so I highly recommend not using Photobucket and hold off for when GMH Torana Bucket comes online. I'm ironing out the kinks for it now. So expect it to be live in the next few weeks.

Ok your image links actually link to HTML pages even though it's images.
Just upload again but the Torana Bucket will be up online in a week or so if you can hold off till then.

I don't post very often but am on hear most days and find the information on hear very helpfull.
Excellent work getting those photos back as this forum is an unbeleaveable source of information and the photos make it so much easier to understand what is being explained.
We all know this to be true but just felt compelled to say thanks and express how much it is appreciated.
