Was there such a beast from factory? HK were glide and so were early HT?

As far as im aware they were all Trimatic.
Im more than happy to be proven wrong though.

I don't see any mention of a 2 speed Powerglide transmission in the listed transmissions.

did the powerglides cam out in the eh-ej and the hd-hr model sixs.I dont think the powerglide came out in the toranas.

Hydra-Matic in EK, EJ & EH.
Powerglide in HD, HR, HK & HT in 6-cyl.
Powerglide in HK & HT V8 (& HG 350 only).
Very late HT had Tri-Matic when Powerglide stocks were exhausted.
Torana HB had BW35. All Torana from LC onwards were Tri-Matics.

Yep had a HT wagon with a glide didn't last long had a spare traumatic out of an LX Torana slapped that in over a few coldies

And about the time 186 stock was exhausted and 202 was fitted?Very late HT had Tri-Matic when Powerglide stocks were exhausted.
