G'day All

As I have now sold off most of my old farm stuff, I've decided to decorate the BBQ area of our new "old" place with something more fitting to what we all like the most

Torana stuff of course   :spoton:

I was at a boot-sale and bought an illuminated sign that had "BOSCH" across the front of it and some perspex for the light to not only shine through the "BOSCH" decal but also through the bottom

I wasn't told from where it came from but I would guestamate it would have been in a hardware or tool shop and above various Bosch tools on shelves

So I've got the decal/transfer made up which is semi transparent and mounted the light above our BBQ cooking and serving area

AND when turned on looks like this

VPAQgrl.jpg

Now I said to myself, self, might have to get more decorations so I've taken some of my spare bits out of the shed which is already lacking in space and hung them up on the wall of the BBQ hut

Now that's starting to look a bit better  :spoton:

Worked for a while with a signwriter.

He used to get transparencies made up for light boxes because it was the done thing.

Showed him what it looked like with a normal photo.

Just as good if not better.

The whites werent as harsh.

Should give it a try.

G'day Rob

Sounds OK but that transfer/decal only cost me $25, may be 'cause he lives opposite me  :dontknow:

Not sure but I was originally quoted at $35 and when I went to pick it up he said that he didn't have to work on it much at all AND I only gave him the photos of our cars on a memory stick

Ive been thinking of doing a collage of sorts on the new LED replacements for the old troffer fluoro light fittings.

They are very thin and great even light and the fittings arent too expensive.

A one day project.

IF anyone in Brisbane is interested i have a few ( maybe 4 or 5 of each)  3 and 4 bay LED menu boards  i want to get rid off,  Basically a white LED screen that you can put a poster on,

Ex Major fast food Pizza chain ones,  you can basically just put a normal poster on them and it lights them up, they even have spring loaded snap sides on them to hold the poster on

run off 12v  power packs  but easy to make them run off a battery

and as multiple bay you can have 3 or 4 posters all light up at once

these are taking up room in my shed and im keen to move some of them on.

Located Birkdale in Redlands, Brisbane

open to offers

**** Attn Admin, if this is in the worng area please feel free to re-locate, i only put it here as it fitted in with Rockoz's idea and was Man cave/ BBQ area freindly******

Yea theres a few stories around, one of the most popular was that the drawings were marked FX in the factory to indicate updated front crossmember  in later models

This I believe was only given to dealerships before the 48-215 got on to the dealership floors

These also came with those books
