does look a bit like a Torry rim, but it could also be a 4 cyl dunnydore as they ran Torana brakes on them just different PCD

The cut outs / slots on both the torana and commodore rims aren't as rounded as the rim in question. The front offset on the rim your asking about looks like what 4.5" rims have. From what I've been told 4 cylinder commodores had 6" rims and do fit a torana stud pattern.

This one was advertised as a nibless XU1 rim, so your bottom one would be correct MAZ.

The top one isn't Volvo is it?

Actually scratch that comment. I don't think Volvo had a 13" rim.

Hi gents,Bazza has confirmed that it is an
early type.was hoping for Bazza's input
instead of me writing what he mentioned..

There was a change to the 6cyl wheels
early in the piece .originally the slots
were 1/2 wide and were replaced with wheels
with slots 7/8 wide.the original wheels had
brake drum clearance problems and were
supposed to b retrofitted with spacers that
were later used on xu-1's.

I did mention maybe the factory changed my
rims or even by dealer as my vehicle wasnt
delivered to new owner until 24/12/69.

I was going to take a tyre off today to
check date but never got around to it.

Cheers maz
