Hi, time to put the steering column back together and I've hit a problem.

Wondering if anyone can tell me if the cover that sits below the coffee pot goes with the bump on top or bottom.

I really should've taken some photos before disassembly.

i believe the side that has the recess/angle goes to the dash side/top for clearance.

Looks like you're right.  I did a test fit today and it looks correct the way you say.

Now I've got another question.  If I remember rightly, the indicator switch wiring ran under the column from the left side to the right side.  Has anyone got any pics of how it's routed from factory?

I presume the HN1346 grease that's specified for application to the horn ring is just simple dielectric grease.  Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.

Sorted out the routing of the loom but had to trial fit the column to work out where the factory put things.

As for the grease, the local Holden parts guy said they just used lithium grease back in the day.  I've tried this and done a continuity test to make sure the grease didn't impede current flow and all seems good.
