I would like to stiffen up my XU1 suspension a bit and I understand you can adjust the front sway bar position to achieve this. Has any one got any info pics / details on this. Have put in new shocks but what springs are people using. I am doing some club level motorsport events in the car, Super Sprints / hillclimb and Regularity here in SA. Thanks.  John D.

If you are referring to the factory 82911 anti sway bar AFAIK there is only one correct position for mounting the bar onto the LCA radius rods. To mount to bar in any other position is likely to subject the bar to excessive operating stress and cause the bar to fracture.

Sounds like you need a bigger bar or upgrade
to the ones the guys in group nc use that
are adjustable..should b a few posts on
here regarding the adjustable bars..

I think Col (rally red) started a post on

In the 70"s owners use to put the bottle jack between the crossmember and the sway bar, loosen the clamp nuts and wind the sway bar further back

Sounds like they are running adjustable anti roll bars in NC which would be way better than the original anti sway bar.

He is very responsive to the picture of the guy laying on the ground leaking fluid. Have not seen that pics for a while :( . Sure someone will post it soon.
