Hi all

This question has arisen on a number of occasions but it appears that there is no consensus.

I am aware that the jacks are colour coded dependent on vehicle weight, but I can find no definitive answer.

So here is the question again: "What is the colour of the original jack supplied with a 1970/71 Brisbane built LCs?"

Cheers

Bazza

To the best of my knowledge Bazza, the colour is black on the brisbane jack mate, Gary.

No Gary, not for me but for an acquaintance. In the meantime I have confirmed (from a low mileage CK) that for the period in question, the jack colour for Brisbane cars was black.

Cheers

The picture is from a 4 door orchid met 9th month 73 Adelaide built i owned the marking on the side has E3. All Adelaide built LJ,s received a black jack from around mid 73

Bazza,1971 LC Brisbane built would have had a black jack.

Cheers

Does anyone know if you can purchase the label on the jacks?
