Questions regarding LC XU1 steering column, as I’m trying to source the correct steering column.
Is the key switch on the lower dash ?
Is the steering column in all floor shift LC’s the same ? Is the XU1 steering column the same out of a gtr or standard LC?
Thx
Dan

Hi Dan

According to the parts catalogue - the steering column is common to all 6 cylinder, console shift, manual transmissions. Part Number 2805654. The ignition switch/key is in the lower dash. Note - the steering column for the 4 cylinder cars is a different part number.

Cheers

Just to clarify 'Console Shift' incorporates both auto and manual transmissions.
