I recently came across this page from the US Car of the Day website which refers to a jasmine yellow A9X Torana offered for sale on ebay during July 2016 from a seller in Georgia: http://caroftheday.c...s-of-bathurst/. Is this a genuine A9X? And does anyone know of any other Toranas which ended up in the US?

There are a couple of others from memory.

A Barbadose Green or Mint julep four door LH or LX? Cant remember exactly? Expat living in Cali somewhere near Jeff.

Jeff also mentioned another four door LH or LX in Jasmine Yellow in really poor nick?

And I think he mentioned a pointy nosed one at some stage, may be wrong, pity he doesnt frequent these forums as much anymore.

Yes this car is a genuine A9X although it has been painted, has had a decent hit at some stage on the passenger side A pillar.   All those pictures were taken in Langwarren Victoria.

Seems they like their Torana's in Germany too. Was checking the new Dermott's Green XU1 TARGA vid on you tube...again, & found

2 vids of a yellow LX SLR arrivinal/pick-up  in Rotterdam plus a very short vid of a green 4 door passing the camera on the Nordschleife.

Yep

Sounds like Uwe's car

Same car

There was a green sunbird hatch in northern California back in 2009 (converted to a 6) that didn't seem to sell on ebay

Yanks didn't know what it was or what to do with it I guess

Just be careful, there are a lot of scammers out there; if the price is too good to be true - scam!

They'll tell you the car is in a container ready to be shipped and you can't inspect it as it's quarantined or locked up ready to go.
