Hi, I have searched the forum for a picture of the yoke springs for the lj steering rack but the link has expired can anyone post a new picture so as i can see what they look like as my rack does not have any and I can not achieve the correct preload with just the shims.

Cheers Nathan.

Hi Nathan

I've just reloaded the pics in the thread from imgur and I've added one extra.

Read this too: http://www.gmh-toran...k/#entry1007125

The parts book and the shop manual are both wrong with their descriptions.

If you go to Bunnings and buy this: https://www.bunnings...lt-set_p3400363 it will have 2 washers in it. They are a bit thicker/stronger than original and need the hole in the middle opening up a bit to fit.

I use a burr and lube.

Because the manual is wrong re the description, it's trial and error but keep the 5ftLb in mind as you assemble.

Good luck!

Thank you S pack and rodomo for your information, now that I know what I am looking for, I think I have seen those washers amongst other parts.

Cheers Nathan.
