Hi Guys,

does anyone know if there's someone out there who can recondition the  three aluminium ID tags that go in the engine bay?

There in pretty good condition but I'd like them to be better.

Are they dented or corroded or both? Do you need to remove the paint from the body tag?

They're not corroded and there's no paint on them. They have no big dents just some small dent's.

I'll try and work out how to post some pictures over the weekend.

The photo is a bit too small to see them properly, but I would try using some autosol and one of those green dish scrubbing pads. You don't want them polished. A matt finish was what they had when new. The body plate (left one on car) will end up being painted if you are restoring the car back to original.
