Years ago, I got rid of the PVC pipe between rocker cover and the T connection used on the triple CD's, and replaced it with a pipe (the old "walking stick"). I blocked the middle manifold hole that the booster was connected to, and connected the booster to the T connection previously used by the PVC hose. Looking for opinions, is there anything wrong with this? Restoring the LC and do not want to repeat any past mistakes.

Hi

 

I believe that by using the old 'hockey stick" crankcase venting , the emission control ADR (as specified for that vehicle) would no long be complied with.

Thanks, I realize that Bazza. I may not be putting the hockey stick back on.

The pcv line can get oil back through it, hook the pcv up normally "test it first" I'm pretty sure that you can pull them apart & service them anyway. & fit the brake hose back in the normal spot. If you're really concerned about the pcv, you can run it via a catch can on the way, pcv to catch can, catch can to t junction. Throw the walking stick & the foam filters. Gary.
