The new 540 turbo set up we built for smokem

 we had street car in mind so thought we get gawler mechanical build us a tough 540  to suit boost and aim for around 900 to 1000 hp streeter

we modified crossmember , cut off original mounts and used engine plates front n backsmokems%20turbo2.jpg

new fans and shroud made to help cool this big bastard down

the bonnet is with shane dale from the metal shaping company getting all steel 6 inch reverse cowel scoop done and fitted and this thing is officialy a streeter..

Wow, nice work!

 

Although that's gonna be a steam train if you ever drive it in the rain! I pity anyone behind you. :P

 

I can't believe you don't have chassis connectors, with that much power I wouldn't be surprised to see the wheelbase to get shorter every time you stuck the boot in?
