Paul (housecat1977) had probs with it being that thick
The powder on butyl tape must work wonders...

About 3 hours all up Maz,the beauty of that rubber is you can stretch it and it becomes thinner as its stretched,I still had to push the frame in around the glass though.

Def worth the time to do it properly..good stuff.

When  you  use  the  glass  setting  tape  it  is  known  as  semi  cures  rubber .
 
The  trick  is  to  immerse  the  rubber  in  kerosene  before  use .
 
It  the  becomes  super  slippery  and  then  goes  around  the  corners  perfectly .
 
The  glass  slides  straight  straight  in  to  the  frame  with  no  effort  at  all .
 
Once  the  kero  dries  the  rubber  it  them  becomes  cured .

I didn't use Kero,I didn't need to ,it went in ok without it.The rubber tends to shrink back and gives it a tight fit.
