How soon after acrylic paint can you use a soft car cover ,Autotechnica brand)car has been sitting about four weeks now.Thanks Paul.

I'd possibly leave it another 2 weeks mate, yes acrylic is soft for a fair while, trapping the solvent is the biggest concern though mate. I can't stress that enough, I'd hate to see premature problems. Gary.

IMO 21 days just to gas off, that's not including if the undercoat didn't have sufficient time to gas off also.
Sun and wind is your friend here. I personally wouldn't cover a fresh acrylic paint job for months.

Does the auto technical car cover have a plastic outer film? If so is it a breathable cover? If not, not good practice covering acrylic paintwork with it.

No no plastic outer cover ,soft polyester.but I'll leave it off .

I have a fabric one and absolutely love it.

On the other hand  a made has an unmolested HG GTS 350, 46year old paint, which was incredible for it's age. He went away for 6 months and left it covered with a not breathable cover and his paint has all blistered due to humidity trapped under the cover.

Be careful.
