hi i need to cut down my lj diff by about 10 ml on drivers side (Tyre rubbing) when i have 4 peeps in car.. been told i can cut down with out resplining is this correct any help would be great..banjo

Would be easier to change your wheel offset?

^^^ well i did think of lathing the back
space area to bring it in but 10 mm seems too
much to take off..
Have the guards been lipped or is tire
right under guard rubbing on outer wheel well
because shes low.what size are tires.
Perhaps get the next size down?

yea wheels are only 7.5 inch so dont want to go back to a 6 thanks
it hits not on the lip but on the wall if that makes scene tires are only 205 not much room on a fb
yea make one walk lol
bean told that if cut housing down 10 mill wont need to respline axles ???

If you are considering going to the trouble of shortening the humble banjo why not do a borg warner conversion instead? If you ever start chasing more power you will have a diff up to the task. Shortening a banjo will still cost a bit of coin which seems like a waste to me.
