Love how the paint came off but not the chalk.
Obviously not the same chalk the kids use on their blackboard.

Some very slow progress. Winter time means more time in the shed. Parts are getting sent to the sand blaster. Engine has been rebuilt and been on the dyno.
Do you guys try and put factory paint markings back on? can anyone make out what the number on the diff would have been?

Yes Jason, I'd be putting the marking back on the parts, I'd be interested in seeing if you have markings on anything else bar the block, diff & brakes. Glad to see you're doing a restoration on the car, but i hate to say, but the water pump pulley goes black from the factory. Gary.
Looks like a brisbane built car, i think ?
Thanks mate, i'll have to fix that pulley up.

Original GMH B&W photo's in Torana Tough show LC series 2250, 2850 and 2600S all with red pulleys.

Thanks mate. They are on the computer in the right rotation and if you click on the pics above they turn 90 degrees.
Bit late but I think this is because of Windows Photos.
The old Microsoft Photo Viewer would actually rotate pictures when you loaded them on the computer and click rotate.
When you posted them online, they would then be in the correct orientation.
With the new Windows 10 Photos app, when you do a rotation, it seems to just change something in the metadata to tell it to show you the picture rotated, but it is still saved in the incorrect orientation. This seems to be the same if you right click the image file and select rotate left or right.
When you post it on the forum, everyone else sees it in the original orientation because they don't have that metadata to tell their machine it should be rotated.
The solution is to right click the picture and open it with Windows Photo Viewer, rotate it and save.
