ok thanks bomber

apart from the timing marks, im guessing theres no difference between red and blue timing covers regarding it fitting ok?

i have a feeling this one has a blue crank (was 15 years ago).......... can i put a red timing cover back on it and all will be good again?

No real difference, interchangeable, crank is irrelevant just run the correct balancer for the timing cover.

maz

when i went to order yesterday, they said the only difference in the balncers is the timing marks are different on a red vs a blue, to line up with the different timing mark location on the red and blue timing cover

ie the timing covers and marking are different locations, otherwise the balancer is the exact same dimension

hope i havent confused it more
