XU1 fuel tank dimensions

I’m in the process of getting a fuel tank made for the LC and wanting to get a hold of a measurement of how far does an XU1 fuel tank drop down below the boot floor. Can anyone help me out? I’ve looked in Fiv’s and Norms books but can’t see anything in there.

Anyone up on the legalities on drop tanks in Qld? Mounting, departure angles etc I would appreciate your advice.

The XU-1 fuel tank bottom section is basically exactly the same as a standard 6 cyl LC - LJ Torana .

I knew it was similar but I wondered if it was slightly deeper. I have currently no tank so don’t have any reference at all

Is the LC tank different to LJ.

I have a new one for my LJ on order. They said about 4 weeks for new stock to arrive.

I think they’re the same externally . Maybe some baffling differences from first LC one’s to late LJ. I know most repros claim to be based on 72 or 73 specs.
