Hi Guys, i have an lx, running an ls2 with a big custom twin holley manifold. I am wanting to go back to injection via a proflow twin throttlebody setup to try to get the motor under a a9x style scoop. Has anybody used the proflow setup on their ls powered torana? If so what are the dimensions ie height of the manifold, throttlebodys etc. Or does anyone have any ideas on another manifold setup which allows it to fit under an a9x scoop or smallish reverse cowl. It is a high hp engine(660fwhp)so i think the standard manifold will not cut the mustard. Hope the link works for the engine pic.

Hi mate,
I have a Holley sniper efi setup and manifold is approx 9” height.
My setup is 130mm out of bonnet so ordering a 5” Torana scoop to cover but currently running a hole in the standard scoop.

Eww... please try to avoid using photobucket for image hosting Ben, your photos above are now gone unless you pay their ransom.

Hi bigfella, lesson learned. I'll research some better options instead of photobucket. Cheers for the heads up

No worries LXLS2. I run standard LS1 ecu. Plenty tuneable by the local guru here in WA.

Showsheight from bonnet mate. Could go lower with smaller filters and thinner throttle bodies.
I will probably cut another 10mm from filter so it’s 120mm high, filters have high flow top so still should flow ok πŸ‘

Gday again, that is a perfect height. Not too high but still looks tough. Very nice car you have there. My carbs are way too high out the bonnet to cover with a scoop, will definitely look into the setup you have. Once again cheers for the input

Bit too high
