Does anyone have an original booster for an early Lc xu1?
Just needed to know if the part number was on the plate or Stamped into the booster

No part number on booster shouldn’t be advertised as a vh317

How do you figure that ?

Plenty of Toranas don't have Torana badges on them... they are still Toranas

Not every booster is stamped... seen many many items from PBR that didn't get a part # or date code on them

Lazy/busy factory workers don't stamp everything back in the 70's

Confirming what Datto says: My XU1 booster has no branding, no model and no date and similarly, neither has the one that my brother owns.

lol..booster is a clean skin as i got a pm from the owner so both bazza and datto are right with there comments..if your really keen you would buy this as you dont have one
..hard to drive a car without a booster
good luck finding one considering there would be less than 100 made back then....post some pics of your car mate

​Hi I know of a early build Lc Xu-1 CK,with a 4 C 1 brake booster fitted, and its original since new,i know of 2 other CK cars with 4 C 1 fitted from new also.

Thr RL means it was built by Russell Lorenz at Perth Brake Parts

 

As it has the straight rod... all LH and early LX before they changed the pedal pivot

Single diaph... so yes 4 and 6 cyl cars
