Does anyone know if you can buy a set of blank keys to suit an LJ ?
At the moment I have a different door , ignition and boot key.

Is this the norm ?

Hi Paul

Two keys, doors & ignition on one, boot & glovebox on the other.

I don't think you will get original blanks but there should be something available.

That's the keys he needs Col. Sounds like Paul might need to have some lock cylinders re coded to get things back to the original configuration.

Question for you Dave, aren't the keys originally in a bright zinc finish, Mick ' s look like brass in that photo ?

I think you'll find they are bright zinc finish, just poor photo for the colour

Original keys are made of brass so they are chromium or nickel plated.

Hi Gary, yes they do look brassy but I'm sure it is just the photo lighting & angles making the nickel plating appear that way.

The door key is most likely your original, assuming the door locks are the originals for your car. Your ignition and boot locks have been replaced at some time in the past.

Does the boot key operate the glovebox lock?
